Juniperus pingii 'Glassell' - Formerly Juniperus squamata 'Glassell'.  Low-growing shrub with an old gnarled appearance, even when small.  A most interesting subject for a rockery.  60 cm high x 80 cm wide in 7 years in our Nursery/Garden.  Zone 7.

Juniperus pingii 'Pygmaea'  - Formerly Juniperus squamata 'Pygmaea'. Flattish with upward and outward facing branches ultimately leaning towards the ground.   Small and neat.  One of the smallest of the squamata family.  It has a place in any rockery.  A squat, dense little bush.  45 cm high x 1 metres wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.   Zone 7.

Juniperus pingii 'Wilsonii' - Formerly Juniperus squamata 'Wilsonii'.  A splendid cultivar of silvery grey-green.  Slow growing.  Spreading, vase shaped, hollow in middle.  1.3 metres each way in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.  Zone 7.

Juniperus procera - East African Juniper. Native of East Africa, Kenya to Ethiopia.  Yellow green foliage.  A common forest tree.  A tall tree 20 to 30 metres in native habitat.  Juniperus procera are in cultivation in New Zealand.  3 metres x 2.5 metres wide in 5 years in our Nursery/Garden. Zone 10.

Juniperus procumbens - Excellent ground cover, fast growing, spreading semi-prostrate.  Stands all winds especially coastal.  Has upward turning branch tips. 50 cm high x 2 metres wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.  Zone 4.  Photo 2 is a  close up of Juniperus procumbens.

Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' - Ideally suited to rock gardens.  Bluish-green in colour.  Very compact.  Will stand coastal winds as well as doing well inland. Mounds in middle to 30 cm high x 1.2 metres wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.  Zone 4.

Juniperus recurva var. coxii - A graceful weeping form introduced from the Burmese highlands.  The durable aromatic timber is prized for the construction of Coffins.  While young it needs to be staked to make a leader.  It is suited to plant near water with fascinating effect.  Dry soil conditions preferred.  1 metre high x 1 metre wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.  Zone 7.

Juniperus sabina 'Broadmore' - Excellent plant from Russia.  Fresh emerald green.  Slight build up of foliage in middle with age.  A stronger plant than Jun. sab. 'Arcadia'.  30 cm high x 2 metres across in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden. Zone 3.

Juniperus sabina 'Tamariscifolia' - Tamarix Juniper.  Grey-green.  Mounded in middle sloping down to edge of plant.  Needs a large garden as it can mound quite high and smother other plants.  Prostrate, spreading.  50 cm high x 1.5 metres wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.    Zone 4.

Juniperus sargentii 'Glauca' - Branches procumbent.   Slow growing.  Leaves glaucous.  Blue foliage.  A good strong plant worthy of much more use.  A low mat-like spreading shrub.  20 cm high x 2 metres wide in 10 years in our Nursery/Garden.   Zone 4.
