Terms of Trade
Disclaimer:
All trees and plants sent out from our nursery are, to the best of our knowledge, true to name and description. Purchasers will understand that no warranty as to growth, failure or description can be offered. If unacceptable then purchasers must return goods within two (2) weeks of receipt. Damage in transit is not our responsibility:- lodge a complaint and/or claim with the transport agency involved.
For directions on ordering and payment of plants see this section
AVAILABILITY OF PLANTS:
As our production list expands and alters, all plants under production are not available every season. Enquires are welcome for any conifers not on this list. If you are looking for a 'SPECIAL' or rare conifer, let us record your order. When it becomes available we will let you know - no matter how many years it may take. You will be under no obligation to accept the plant when it is ready.
DESCRIPTION:
A brief description is given with all plants. Any size we quote is approximate and judged by our conditions in coastal North Taranaki, North Island, New Zealand.
METHOD OF GROWING:
All plants are growing in Planter Bags i.e. PB's or Hard Pots and are therefore ready for immediate sale. The larger specimens have been growing in the ground for some years and have been lifted the previous winter.
PACKING:
Due to the many different grades of Conifers we endeavour to supply our customers, we make plant Health and Welfare our No. 1 priority when packing for dispatch via Courier or Truck.
FREIGHT:
Freight varies according to where you live. As a guide we suggest you add $2.00 per plant for North Island deliveries and $4.00 per plant for South Island deliveries. Large Size PB's will cost considerably more.
(You will be charged the freight at cost. We endeavour to secure the best method of freighting for the most reasonable cost.)
We endeavour to supply the grade requested, but for several reasons this may not be possible. We may supply the nearest grade possible.
We reserve the right to alter prices when the need arises. i.e. grade of plant offered changes.
